I don't care for barbecue sauce either. I enjoy good barbecue food but I don't like the sauce itself, like I'd never dip fries or chicken nuggets in it or anything.
I haven't had a McRib in a long time (and I doubt my McDonald's market is bringing it back right now) but I don't remember finding the barbecue sauce a big problem. It's possible you hate BBQ sauce a lot more than I do though!
I prefer diet cola to regular cola, I don't really like any other diet soda though. I can't imagine ever wanting to get used to the flavor of diet root beer or something. I guess I don't really think of diet cola as a flawed imitation of a real thing, whereas if I drink diet orange soda or diet Sprite or something it just tastes like a slightly weird version of them.
Oh yeah, and I feel sorry for people who hate root beer. It's so great! I heard it's the anise flavoring that makes it taste like toothpaste to some people. |

McDonald's flavors are so gentrified that I cannot imagine the barbecue sauce on a McRib being strong enough to put someone off. I don't really like barbecue sauce either, but I know I had a McRib once as a child. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |

| Yeah the quality of food from McDonald's is pretty consistent. I'm usually at least a little interested in special items at other fast food places, but at McDonald's everything just seems marginally less appealing to me than a Big Mac. I found the recipe for special sauce online, I should just make a fukkin tub of that shit and just fukkin wallow in it. |

| If the sauce was gentrified, it would taste better, strictly speaking. |

I'm rather pleased with my use of gentrified in that post, to be honest. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |

Yogurt-based tips are my favorite dips.
In Iran, we have most-oh-mosir, which is basically yogurt with crashed shallots. And most-oh-khiar which is yogurt with small pieces of cucumber. Both are good things to have around with drinks, but most-oh-mosir is awesome for dipping in chips in (specially cheese puffs) |

| Dahl is very good, but my Pakistani friend would never give me his recipe which was really annoying. |
