I was forced to go to this faggot thing last month (A FRIEND OF MINE WAS IN IT, SO...) where 8 people got up on stage and did 10-minute original monologues.

For some reason this article made me think of that, and how fucking fantastic this would play on stage as a monologue, and how fucking awesome and perfect I would be in a performance of it.

I would actually have a powerful desire to sign up for the gay theatre thing just so I could do it next time, if it weren't Onion material that people would recognize.

My friend was strongly considering auditioning with that sketch at college and I offered to sit in the audience to give him the necessary prompts.

I wouldn't have had the courage to, though, so thankfully neither did he.

WordPress fucking saves absolute URLs in the goddamn DATABASE TABLES.

So if you develop locally and then dump your database online, or just move the blog to a new domain, you have to run goddamn SQL commands to go through and find/replace all the URLs to the new domain!

That's bad for reasons unrelated to that. It means that whenever they visit your site presumably it will always hit the database, even if it's something that should be cached.

Anyway, you should learn SQL. It's extremely useful.
