He also directed a remake of Dawn of the Dead.

I admit I was excited to see how this movie would turn out, but this is the first time I hear about the ending being changed! Nevertheless, I'm still going to watch it. I'll try my best to act like the movie and graphic novel are completely unrelated.

SO anyway, I think FDR's best policies were the elimination of prohibition, the FDIC, the minium reserve requirement, The SEC, and electrical infrastructure such as the TVA, Hoover and Columbia dams, and rural electrification

When he confiscated gold currency to effectively end the gold standard, that was a crude measure for the deppression, but probably caused the market to function better once WW2 actually started

Lastly, I think Wagner Act, which legitimized the rights of labor unions, made things run a lot smoother.

I remember seeing the Dawn of the Dead remake when it came out and thinking it was pretty sweet. Then I saw it many years later and was kind of BORED WITH IT, realizing I had grown a little OLDER and things like this didn't excite me any more.

But then I saw the part where the gun shop owner gets bit and starts writing the sign in HIS OWN BLOOD. That's fucking awesome.

Watchmen is like, the ultimate nerd-beloved thing, that they have been excessively jacking their dicks over since it first came out.

With the release of this movie, they're coming out of the woodwork to be super-excited, or ultra-critical, or whatever (gay) about it.
