I guess I've been pretty lucky because I'm registered to vote and I've never had to do jury duty.
They probably just don't want black people on juries, though. |

I have to go in for jury duty when I get home from school, I'm hoping I don't get picked. What if everybody on the jury was really cold and cynical and wanted to "get it over with" so they all put in a guilty vote but I knew the man was innocent!?
On the other hand, this is a great chance to make 11 new friends...

I had jury duty twice in the first two years I was eligible. I didn't get selected, I just had to wake up early and go sleep in some uncomfortable chair for 8 hours.
Luckily, they compensated me for my time with a sweet $15 check. |
