| Rice, if I tell you about the next Meatgod show, can you get her to go and bring all her friends? We don't have enough fans yet. |

Jay-Z is a better rapper than Lil' Wayne. Lil' Wayne is good but come on. Every year since I was in like 5th grade, Jay-Z has dropped an album with a bunch of hits on it that everyone bumps all summer, and they've all been pretty badass. "Drop It Like It's Hot", as far as I know, is a Snoop Dogg song.
Lil' Wayne is the least garbage of southern rap, but he's no Jay-Z. |

Alright, well that's your perspective cause you live in the North.
Lil Wayne was doing the same thing with Cashmoney in the South. And Southern rappers still just JOCK Cashmoney's sound, WHICH WAS ORIGINAL. Way more distinctive than anything Jay Z did.
JayZ had some hits here, but he wasn't as huge as Lil Wayne.
And DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT was a WEEZY song way before Snoop did it. Actually, everybody in New Orleans is pissed off at Snoop for that because it's a straight up rip off. Lil Wayne even does a song on a mix tape wherroe he sings the lyrics to HIS Drop It Like It's Hot over the track to Snoop's version."
And then he says, "Don't get it twisted, man. I ain't tryin' to diss. It's just little old me. Singing my shit." |

| I don't understand, in a genre where sampling is the norm, someone is going to get pissed because a rapper covered a song and turned it into a hit? |

Samplin MUSIC is the norm.
Snoop stole LYRICS. Lil Wayne made a song called DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT, and it was huge locally, and then Snoop waited about four or five years, and made HIS OWN VERSION of DROP IT LIKE ITS HOT and used his huge pocket book to flood MTV and radio with it, and then he made like ten times more money off DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT than the guy who originated it, and he didn't share any of it.
And Lil' Wayne's hook is a lot catchier. |

| Man, I always assumed Snoop wrote and recorded Drop It Like It's Hot in like twenty minutes (the beat is a guy making clicking noises with his tongue, for god's sake), and I'm pretty excited to learn that he didn't even write it, so it might have taken even less time than that! |

I think the only lyric he stole was Drop It Like It's Hot, so it's not as big a deal as Punkasss thinks it is. Although I don't doubt that Snoop Dogg wrote the song in 10 minutes. |

For the most part, Snoop Dogg is amazing. That is the only major four he's ever committed.
He has this new DVD with three thirty minute horror stories. It's like SNOOP DOGG TALES FROM THE CRYPT. I think it's called Hood of Horror. There's this one where these three black Vietnam Vets all live in this house their white general gave them. Then their white general dies and his spoiled son takes the place over and basically reinstitutes slavery, and then at the end they revolt and stick a vaccuum cleaner in his girlfriend's pussy and put it on reverse and blow her up! |
